If you are interested in making money from home but don’t know where to start, this may be the place to begin your journey. Affiliate marketing might be the perfect choice for you. This is a simple way to earn by sharing products you like with others. You already do this every time you talk about something you like and then that person buys that product later on. Affiliate marketing is a way to earn money online by recommending products or services and when someone buys something through a special link that you provide, you get a small commission at not extra cost to the buyer. It’s like a finders’ fee for helping a company sell its products.

Affiliate marketing is good for home business beginners because it is simple to start, you can learn as you grow, and you can work from home or anywhere.

Simple ways to promote products you use and like are by sharing links on social media pages, adding links to blog posts or email newsletters, or talk to friends and family about products you recommend.

Some products I am sharing are: digital products that I bought and use to learn, build and grow my online business; I am in the Amazon Influencer Program and I review products that I own, then when someone watches my video and they buy that product, I earn a small commission; and finally, I create digital products and sell them.

I’m not going to say it’s easy, or that it’s quick. It takes work, persistence, and goals. But when you get traction and grow your following that when the results really start to happen. Remember that you are working for yourself.

Sometimes I get imposter syndrome and I feel frozen and don’t post anything online for days, or even weeks at a time. Sometimes I just don’t know what I’m doing, but that’s okay. Many times my ADHD (oh shiny) syndrome kicks in and I get sidetracked. Then I make a checklist (of things I’ve already done so I can check them off) and I get back on track. The point is that I keep on going because time will pass whether I choose to continue on or not.

Change isn’t always easy, but it is definitely worth it!
