I am a dreamer who has always dreamt of having my own business, my own niche, my own something that I created that I can be proud of. So, welcome to my blog!

I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I went from living in my parents home, to getting married, to having children and raising a family. And I loved it! I love supporting my husband in his endeavors and supporting my children in the things they wanted to do. But over time, I also began to learn about myself and the things that I wanted for my life and the things that I wanted to accomplish for me.

I had a great childhood, but I was also raised with the moto of children are to be seen and not heard. It took me a while to use my voice without the fear of being judged, or that it didn’t matter what I thought or said, or that others were more important than me. Raising my children to be seen and heard was also giving me the courage and confidence to be seen and heard. I was on a journey of freedom to confidently be me.

When I was in my mid-30’s, I decided to go back to school part-time to earn my college degree, while still working as a legal secretary full-time. After 9 years, I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Business Management – Small Entrepreneurship. That was a proud moment for me. I worked hard for that degree and I’m thankful for the support and sacrifices my family made so I could accomplish that dream.

And so, my blog is about managing my life and sharing about the things that bring me joy. I hope to bring you joy along the way.
